Why donate money?

For more than 13 years the Berliner Tafel e.V. has been helping to relieve hunger in this city.
In those 13 years the number of receiving agencies has risen continually, leading to increased logistic efforts in order to ensure that food is always distributed fairly. Our vehicle fleet transports tons of food daily to all of the city's districts. Our volunteers organise routes, agree appointments for the picking up of food and they coordinate the entire logistic itinerary. Keeping the vehicles on the road, distributing the food and the other activities of the society all cost money, every day.
